Still struggling with anything overhead so only got a measly 16.5kg in snatch and hang snatch. Got 18kg in snatch but couldn’t hang snatch it (3 failed attempts!) a bit disheartening!!
On a brighter note, completed the 10’s in the WOD using 20.5kg.
Had to scale and do power snatch and hang power snatch. Absolutely delighted to get 26kg, my previous max was 23.5kg for the hang.
Scaled with power cleans in wod. 30kg and got 8 + 10 cleans.
Managed to complete the 10 front squats in the 6 minutes at 50kg. Also 40kg for snatch & hang snatch
Had to scale to power snatch & hang power snatch 1RM 28kg
Completed 1 full round with 25.5kg and 4 STOH & 6 front squat with 28kg for WOD. Tried full snatch in warm up but just couldnt get down that last inch… hopefully next time 🙂
Max 26kg, probably could have got a wee bit more but my shoulders are still soar from yesterday, still happy with that though!! Got 10 front squats and 10 STOH in the 6 minutes, scaled to 25kg.
I got 30kg for power snatch and hang power snatch (squats not good). I wasn’t happy with that as I think I could have done more.
I did one full round with 30kg and with 35kg did 2 of each and 3 front squat. I was happy enough with that!
Well done Steve, nice to try that one out before saturday. Managed to complete the first ladder with 50kg, 47.5kg for the power & hang snatch
Got 37.k for snatch and hang snatch 🙂 got 10 squats and 4 STOH with 40kg. Did my b-day burpees with a good auld twist XD Edwina hung of the bar while i did the burpees and for every secong longer then 1 minute i had to do an extra burpee… good job there was only 16 😛
Got 8 full + 10 squats, 25kg. Did at gym in Dublin. Hard to work on your own and w different equipment. Prefer the Crossfit Sligo!
40kg Snatch+Hang Snatch… Got to 2 FS in 2nd Rd. @rx!! Good luck to the lads taking that on again in competition this weekend!!
Really enjoyed today, I like working on the overhead stuff, even if my arms don’t. Managed 40kg in the end for the full snatch and HPS. I completed the ten squats in the workout with 50kg, didn’t want to do any more for fear of making Steve look bad 🙂

Wasn’t feeling it today didn’t add any extra weight to bar for snatch as my form was shocking. Just done one rnd for wod. Mid week slump I’m affraid. 🙂
First bitta snatching in a while and it showed, 37.5kg. Finished 4 reps on round 2 at 60kg. Good luck with that one on Saturday lads!
Managed 25,5kg Max snatch (but i still think the 8kg bar is lighter as i tried to lift 23,5 in the proper bar and i couldnt!). Full round with 25,5.
